In our lives, we have the ability to reach a deeper connection and truly dive into our depths when we incorporate the idea of mindful movement.
Our creative side yearns for release while our physical side wants to work together to find a beautiful balance that impacts our own self-love and focus.
This enables us to let go of any negative impulses we may have. At least this is my view of yoga movements and how powerful their combination can be.
Choosing to add or use a prop in your yoga practice helps to enhance your full awareness with the postures and dive deeper into your own yogi bond.
The main focus of the yoga wheel is to help open and support the body through slow controlled movements, breath, and extensions while also connecting deeper into your mindfulness to stay alert, active, and aware of what you’re doing.
It can help make challenging poses more accessible and boost your own confidence with your new mindset and strength. Not to mention, it helps make challenging poses more fun with added creative twists.

I recently read about remarkable qualities we learn from dogs. If you have the time today, take a second to heal your soul & hug your dog, or anyone’s pet! Loved everything about this article and felt empowered to share after spending the weekend in Charleston with my two corgis, Lark and Nomi. They always show me these key qualities and are patient enough to let me take their pictures at every stop :)

The real struggle with words; practice makes perfect! #bloopers
We all have wonderful talents we’ve realized over the years...maybe even a better one is realizing what talents we DO NOT have. Watching yourself on film for the first time can be cringe worthy, but you can laugh, learn and take from it (all while still cringing). I realized I move my hands at an incredible speed when I’m speaking and get excited. I have the fun habit of closing my eyes and shaking my head when I’m thinking. I also own the ultimate sin of enjoying the word UM way too much. Learning your own idiosyncrasies can be humbling, amusing and an overall need for a giant glass of wine. Please enjoy my struggle with spirituality and many more bloopers to come! Click "Say Spirituality 3 times fast" or “Read More below for the full video!
